This was the first time we’ve been to Alpine since the Wallow fire. We feel so very blessed that our property was spared.

“The Four Musketeers”. We didn’t see much of these guys the whole trip. They spent their days exploring in the mountains and only came back for mealtimes. :)

Cousins are the best!! One of these days we’ll go up when they can experience sledding in actual snow. :)
We drove around to take some pictures of the Wallow fire damage. Such beautiful country that will never be the same.
On our way home from Alpine we spontaneously decided to drive up a road to explore an interesting mountain outside of Springerville. We have been driving by these mountains for over 30 years, and have never done such a thing. It was quite interesting. We drove up to a level area half way up the mountain and took time to explore.
