Gratitude

Gratitude is a Spirit‑filled principle. It opens our minds to a universe permeated with the richness of a living God. Through it, we become spiritually aware of the wonder of the smallest things, which gladden our hearts with their messages of God's love. This grateful awareness heightens our sensitivity to divine direction. When we communicate gratitude, we can be filled with the Spirit and connected to those around us and the Lord. Gratitude inspires happiness and carries divine influence." (Bonnie D. Parkin)

Having a grateful heart isn't always easy.  Don't we sometimes get bogged down with all of the negativity that surrounds us? I know that I do.  I have SO much to be thankful for, and I know that Gratitude really does inspire happiness! I think that if we take time to look back on each day, we will find God's hand in our lives.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

What are YOU thankful for?

Great post, Crissie! It's funny that having gratitude sometimes takes a lot of effort, but when you make that effort, you end up so much happier. It's all about attitude. I'm so thankful for my family's good health, and of course my good friends too. :)
