On Saturday morning our Church had a big Humanitarian day. Everyone was invited to come and help with Humanitarian service projects. There was a blood drive, quilts to tie and stuffed bears to make (usually then sent to poverty stricken areas of the world), a canned food drive, projects for the Salvation Army, orphanages, and the organization “Newborns in Need”, and a donation drive to help out the La Mesita Homeless shelter in Mesa. So many people-both young and old came to help out with all the projects. It was a great time.
Merilana & Corey, and Melody & Matt (my sisters and their husbands) and their kids came to help. All of the kids seemed to really enjoy helping with the service projects.

One of the many quilts that were tied that morning. Even the teenagers were helping! :)

Looks like it was a great success! Sorry we missed it--Chuck's little sister got married on Sat, so we were out of town. Looks like you had a great turnout though. :)
