What an eventful week!!

Last week was a very eventful week. On Monday night we had a fun Family Home Evening with Stan’s family at his sister Donna’s house. 2 of Stan’s brothers and 1 sister came in from out of town for the week. It was SO great to see them all. 9 out of the 10 kids and their families were in town (we missed you Doug and Pam!). Here are some pictures of Monday night.

Uncle Russell told Parker he would give him $20 if he won him at chess. Maybe next time Parker.041

Disney On Ice

On Friday morning, Grandma & Grandpa Roberts (Stan’s parents) chartered a bus to take the whole Roberts family to Disney on Ice. It was a great show. The kids loved it!

Dallin watched out the window the whole time. He was amazed that we were taller than all the cars that we passed.017

Most of the pictures we took didn’t turn out because they were action shots, but here are a couple.079

Roberts Reunion

Well, the fun didn’t stop there. We had to leave the Phelps party early to make it to the Roberts Reunion. Every April Stan’s Dad and his siblings and all of their posterity get together for an evening reunion.

Stan’s sister Brenda made balloons for all the kids094

Stan’s brother Russell played the violin for the talent show112

Sharla, Brenda, Spencer and Dan (Stan’s siblings) sung a very “cool” song for the talent show.

Easter Sunday

Whew!! What a week! It was so great spending time with family. Especially with those who live out of state. Now it’s time to switch gears and turn our thoughts to the reason why we celebrate Easter-our Savior Jesus Christ. Easter was a beautiful relaxing day. After church we spent time with our kids watching videos and reading stories about Jesus Christ. Parker decided that he wanted to do a little musical presentation on Christ. He found pictures to go along with the song “His Hands”. He held up the pictures as the song played in the background. We thought it was great!

We had Easter Dinner at home with just our own little family. During the dinner Dallin said, “Mom, I have something very special to give you.” When I asked him what it was, he got up from his chair and gave me a big hug!

April, this year has been busier than December, and May is shaping up to be even worse. As our kids get older, our calendars get busier!
