Gila Valley Temple Open House

Stan had the privilege of taking some of the Young Men to the Gila Valley Temple open house on May 8th. Before an LDS Temple is dedicated, it is open to the public for viewing. It’s a great opportunity for children and youth, and also for those who aren’t members of our faith to see what a Temple looks like inside and to feel the peaceful spirit therein. Parker was able to go with Stan and thoroughly enjoyed the temple tour. The week after, Cassie was able to go with the Young Women in our ward. We don't have a picture of Cassie with the Young Women, but here’s a picture of Stan with the Young Men. It was a great experience for all of them. We are excited that in the near future, 2 more Temples will be built in Arizona…one in Gilbert and the other in Phoenix.

Such a great experience for the youth! We took our kids last summer to the Oquirrh Mountain temple in Utah. They loved it! Unfortunately we didn't make it to the Gila Valley one.
