On the Friday of October Break, Stan took off work and we headed to the State Fair. It was opening day so we got in for $1 each. Parker and Dallin participated in a reading challenge previously and earned 3 rides each. It was a fun, cheap family activity. Unfortunately it was a 100 degree day (of course the week before it was in the 80’s), so it was a bit hot in the afternoon, but despite the heat we enjoyed ourselves.
Dallin’s first time riding the big ferris wheel. He was a bit uncertain about it at first.

Parker loved the Butterfly Exhibit…
Cassie and Dallin not so much.
Dallin panicked every time we told him he had a butterfly on him, but he did his best to put on a brave face.
We ended the night with a yummy funnel cake.
